Radiant Historia is a role-playing video game co-created by Atlus and Headlock for the Nintendo DS. Retronauts is a completely fan-funded operation.

Our assembled crew of Nadia Oxford, Jeremy Parish, Anthony John Agnello and patron Lorenzo Hulzebos did not miss out on the Radiant Historia experience, and thus they took time out of their schedule in the past to tell us in the future not to overlook this unique take on the fantasy JRPG.ĭescription: Like dust in the wind, Nadia Oxford leads Jeremy Parish, Anthony John Agnello, and topic-requesting patron Lorenzo Hulzebos across the sands of time to explore (and re-explore) Atlus' cult-classic time-travel RPG, Radiant History. Years later, Radiant Historia got a second chance with Perfect Chronology, a remake made especially for the Nintendo 3DS…but it launched after the Nintendo Switch was already on the market and the 3DS was yesterday's news. I'm talking about Radiant Historia, a handheld JRPG that arrived on the Nintendo DS mere months before the 3DS launched (in the case of the English version, it was a matter of weeks). Unfortunately many people skipped over that release, but now they can make up for their mistake thanks to Atlus bringing an enhanced version to the Nintendo 3DS.

This week on Retronauts, we cover a game well-regarded by those who encountered it, but one that managed to slip past most gamers twice during its commercial releases.
